Dexter User Interface

I used Dexter for one short audio editing job. I can see that it has lots of power and flexibility. But I had one major problem with it, namely the user interface. The controls are not intuitively placed. The buttons are too tiny and many of the icons weren't recognizable to me. I spent too much time looking for the control that I wanted. For example, the play, pause, stop, rewind buttons etc. are in an out-of-the-way place, and they should be larger than other buttons. It would be nice if they were in a grouping similar to what you might see on a CD player. My guess is that many people who take the free download will try it once and then uninstall it. Perhaps I'm spoiled, but a good user interface is important to me. (I was on the team that designed the user interface for the International Space Station.) All in all, I think Dexter is a very good program but it needs a face lift. Any chance of that?
