MPG to FLV conversion problem

Postby biggles » Sun Jun 05, 2011 1:22 pm

Firstly I have to say what a fantastic piece of software this is! Brilliant!

One small problem though. After purchasing it, I tested all the conversions on my computer and everything works fine but when I try to convert an MPG file to FLV on my server it tells me that the file is not supported and to ensure that the correct codec is installed.

I have tried installing a few MPEG codecs but I still get the same error. Any suggestions?

Many thanks

Dear Mr. Rick,

I have the same problem for converting from mpg to flv or swf.
Would you please notify me the result or solution?
Or If you need my sample mpeg file, I will send you.
(Because of its size(40M), I hesitate to send immediately...

Hello Michael,

Yes, please send the sample video to softdiv@gmail.com . We will need the source video in order to check the problem. There will be a new version of Videozilla (2.6) available in this month. It will solve most of the "unsupported video" issue. Thank you

Dear Mr. Rick,

I think I found the clue what the problem was...
I tested in another PC and succeeded!!

The differences were in the sound drivers.
When the sound driver was missing, or not set correctly,
VIDEOzilla shows the error message and terminates immediately.
(Only on converting mpeg to flv/swf... )
Whereas the WindowsMediaPlayer skips it and plays silent movie.

At the first, I thought the problem is in the Codec, but now I guess
it's in the checking the sound driver logic in VIDEOzilla...

I appreciate for your kind enough reply and will wait for the new version
to be launched in this month.

Thank you.
Michael A. Jang
