how to eliminate vocals

How can completely eliminate vocals? The vocal reduction does just that, reduces them. And when it does it takes alot of the bass with it. Is it possible to add bass back in and also some way to completely erase the vocals? Some way other than just the vocal reduction feature. Can yo select the part of the song to adjust the vocals or can you only effect the entire song?

Hello,

There is no way to completely eliminate the vocals. You can only reduce it. To reduce only certain parts of the song, first you will need to make selection of the area, copy and paste into a new waveform. Then apply the vocals reduction effect in this new waveform. Copy back the entire audio contents from this new waveform and replace the old content with the new one.
