Conversion ends after few minutes

Hello all

When I try to convert an mpeg2 video (~ 2GB) to mp4, Videozilla stops after 3 minutes and 33 seconds and the conversion seems to be finished. But only 5% of the whole sourcefile is converted!
What's going wrong?
